Obamacare IS unconstitutional, so those that support it and pushed into law… didn’t they actually work to undermine or ignore the Constitution?

Posted by mrfixit on December 13, 2010

We did not need a judge to tell us this.  All you have to do is read the Constitution and it is clear the Federal Government does not have the authority to impose individual mandates upon citizens to buy insurance.

I cannot accept that those pushing this did not know it was unconstitutional.  I firmly believe they knew it, and just don’t care.  Let’s face it; they did not even READ the bill!  So, who REALLY wrote it anyway?   They don’t really care about constitutionally limited government.  They seek to centralize power and control every aspect of your life, they seek to destroy the concept of individual rights and replace it with an ambiguous ever changing concept of the collective.

At what point will we be able to say the enemies of our constitution are those who are working to pass unconstitutional laws, and this is not the first, McCain-Feingold is another of many other such laws.  When can we hold these politicians accountable to their oath of office and remove those who do not honor it?

We cannot afford continuous internal attacks on our Constitution.  We were meant to protect and preserve it, not allow its destruction before our very eyes, as we are seeing happen now.

For example; if this poll is a fair cross-section of the US population, we have BIG problems.  Even though it shows strong opposition to this Unconstitutional law, it also shows the moderate linguini-spined folks are many in number, about 38% or so:  “People who don’t support the law fragment on how to proceed, with a plurality in this group, 38 percent, saying they’d rather wait and see before deciding on a direction. Among the rest, 30 percent would repeal parts of the law, while about as many, 29 percent, favor repealing all of it.”

The obamanator will do his utmost to push some form of healthcare thru, Constitutionally or not. I believe not, but he will continue to abuse the Constitution.
